According to a source, the textbooks aligned with the new curriculum will be available for all classes by 2026. It will take a minimum of two years for all the textbooks to be distributed for all classes in accordance with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
Officials mentioned that the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has been periodically revising and updating the content since 2017. They have now been instructed to carry out this process annually.
“Given the rapidly changing world, it is crucial to keep the textbooks up to date. The NCERT has been tasked with conducting a yearly review and making updates before the start of each new academic session,” the source further explained.
